Indian BMDs reported in Morning Post - Families in British India Society

The 10th March 1842 edition of London’s Morning Post reported a lot of news from India. It can be seen online at the British Newspaper Archive or Findmypast. The reported events seem to be from December 1841. Could anyone help with advice on what source or sources the Morning Post might have used, to generate the reported news? My particular interest is in two of the deaths listed in the Madras section.
