Richard Morgan – Presentation title yet to be disclosed
Richard Morgan is a former FIBIS Trustee and a regular adviser at FIBIS events. Richard numbers among his ancestors and collaterals a tea planter, several jute wallahs, an East India Co Maritime officer and army officers from the Bengal and Madras Armies.
Richard is the author of FIBIS Research Guide No 3 British Ships in Indian Waters 2nd edn 2017, and two FIBIS Fact Files No. 3 Indian Directories, and No. 6 Graves in British India. He is working on a new FIBIS Fact File, provisionally called Indian Crops: Indigo, Tea and Jute. He has also edited The Diary of an Indian Cavalry Officer, Pagoda Tree Press, 2003. He contributes to Family Tree Magazine and BACSA’s Chowkidar.
