Richard Morgan will be giving a talk to the Docklands History Group at 6 pm on  Wednesday 6th November 2013 on “The East India Company’s Maritime Service”.  The organisers have kindly said that any FIBIS Members would also be welcome.   The event costs £2 and is at the Museum of London Docklands, West India Quay, London E14 4AL. Instructions for late comers are as follows:  front doors (quayside) of the Museum close at 6.00pm. Visitors arriving after then will need to use the staff entrance around the back of the Museum (in Hertsmere Road and which has an access bell/buzzer). The meeting is in the Jack Petchey Room, which is in the Museum basement. Visitors will be asked to sign the Museum’s list of DHG attendees held by the security window just by the staff basement entrance.
