National Archives Discovery catalogue problems

National Archives Discovery catalogue problems

It has come to our attention that there are problems searching for British Library India Office Records in the new TNA Discovery catalogue. In the past these records were available on the  Access to Archives (A2A) search, which  has now  been withdrawn and replaced by the The National Archives Discovery catalogue.

FIBIS member, Maureen Evers, has informed us that the problems  with the Discovery catalogue  are due to  not all the India Office Records data getting  transferred across. The problems are currently being worked on, but she has been  advised  by the TNA that this may take some time  and they suggest people use the British Library Archives and Manuscripts catalogue  instead.
