The Library has arranged these free training sessions to help you start your family history research. If you believe you have European ancestors who were born, married or died in South Asia (= modern India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Burma, but excluding Sri Lanka) before independence in 1947/8, then these sessions might be of interest to you.

Participants do not have to be registered Readers. The British Library reserve the right to cancel a session if there is insufficient number of participants.
