FIBIS is pleased to announce that several more years have been added to the  Suffolk Regimental Gazette Index  in the FIBIS database thanks to Suffolk Record Office, Bury St Edmunds and the Suffolk Regiment Archive. The data includes personnel entries from the Suffolk Regiment Gazette for the years 1890-1896, 1905-1906 and 1911-1912. Please also note that the people mentioned include many from other regiments, such as:

The  Suffolk Regimental Gazette  is part of the  Suffolk Regiment Archive  housed at the  Suffolk Record Office, Bury St Edmunds. If you plan on visiting the Record Office in person please note that the Record Office is currently open Monday-Saturday, 9.00am-5.00pm, but opening hours may be changing shortly so check in advance. You do not need to book an appointment, but if you wish to view documents on a Saturday they currently need to be ordered on the Friday before 2pm, but this may also be changing shortly. Most of the Regimental Gazettes are freely available on the open shelves and do not need to be ordered.
