Suffolk Regimental Gazette Index 1906

FIBIS is pleased to announce that the Suffolk Regimental Gazette Index 1906 has now been added to the FIBIS database thanks to Suffolk Record Office, Bury St Edmunds. The data includes 5268 personnel entries from the Suffolk Regiment Gazette published whilst the Regiment was serving in India. Please also note that the personnel mentioned include many from other regiments, such as:

The Suffolk Regimental Gazette is part of the Suffolk Regiment Archive housed at the Record Office in Bury St Edmunds. If you plan on visiting the Record Office in person please note that the Record Office is open Monday-Saturday, 9.00am-5.00pm. You do not need to book an appointment, but if you wish to view documents on a Saturday they need to be ordered on the Friday before 2pm. Most of the Regimental Gazettes are freely available on the open shelves and do not need to be ordered.
