British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia AGM

Members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of BACSA (British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia).

In order to promote better communication with our “sister” organization, FIBIS Members have been invited to this function on Thursday, 26 March 2015 at 11.30 a.m.  The meeting is to be held at “The Victory Services Club (Carisbrooke Hall)” 63-79, Seymour Street, London W2 2HF. This will be a chance to get to know their members much better and to take advantage of the direct experience that many of them have of the sub-continent. Apart from the formal matters, there will be reports from members on their visits to various cemeteries in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and SE Asia.

Display and items for sale: Displays of recent restoration projects, books reviewed in the  Spring Chowkidar, second-hand books, BACSA merchandise, knick-knacks and Bangladeshi embroidery.

Following the Meeting, there will be a “ Curry Lunch” to which you are invited at a cost of £17.50 Members wishing to attend the curry lunch, should write to Mrs Valerie Robinson at 10, Denny Crescent, London SE11 4UY enclosing a cheque for £17.50 payable to BACSA, BEFORE 16 March 2015.
