This weeks episode of the TV show “Who Do You Think You Are?” sees comedian Billy Connolly investigate his British Indian  ancestry. The show can be seen this Thursday 2 October at 9pm on BBC One.

This months Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine also contains a guide to the best websites for tracing British family in India. Needless to say, the Families in British India Society  website is the magazines number one choice and is described as the “leading light” in this subject and the place to start your research.
