Hints and tips

Firstly, save the form onto your computer/disc.

Secondly, open the document (from the disc) in MS Word.  You will now be able to fill out the form.

If you are emailing this form, please help our Membership Secretary by saving the form as "Your Name".  To do this, go to the FILE menu and select SAVE AS.  You will need to save the file to attach it to an email.

To fill out the form, simply place your cursor at the beginning of each line. Depending on your Word set up, you may also see a grey shaded area at the beginning of each line.

Too much information for the page? Simply type "see attached" in the relevant area and attach a separate document with the email.

The print margins are set outside the printable area?

The easiest solution is to "print anyway" when you get the error message. (You will probably loose the last line, or it will print on another page).

The form doesn't work properly, or doesn't 'look right'?

Not all versions of MS Word or Mac will work with the forms.  Please go to the PDF version, print off, and post to the Membership Secretary.

What's a PDF?

PDF stands for Portable Document Format by Adobe.  A PDF gets around the many compatibility issues associated with the different versions of Word and Macs, but you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader® to view the file.  Chances are you already have it on your computer, as it comes with many products and data CD's.  It is free to download.
