Text size
If you find the text on the FIBIS website too small or too large, you can change it by using your browser menu.
Internet Explorer v7.0 and V6.0:
- Select the Page menu
- Select Text Size
- Select Largest, Larger, Medium, Smaller or Smallest text sizes
Firefox v1.5+:
- Select the View menu
- Select the Text Size option
- Select Increase or Decrease
- Or you can select and hold the ' Ctrl ' button on your keyboard and use ' + ' to increase the text size or ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and '0' returns the text to the default size.
Netscape in Netscape v6.0+:
- Select the View menu on your browser
- Scroll to Text Zoom
- Select the text size you prefer
If you have trouble with the text size on the FIBIS website please contact the webmaster saying what operating system you are using, for example "Windows XP"; your browser, for example "Internet Explorer 5.5" .
Access Keys
You can use the following access keys on the main FIBIS website:
H = Go Home.
S = Skip past the navigation and go straight to the content.
K = Go to the accesskey definitions page.
1 = Members Area
2 = FIBIS database search
3 = FIBIS wiki
4 = Shop
5 = Frequently asked questions
6 = About FIBIS
7 = Membership
8 = Meetings
9 = News
0 = Contacts
B = Books page
X = Links page
Y = Volunteers page
To use access keys
- Press Alt + accesskey on a PC, or Ctrl + accesskey on an Apple Mac.
- In Internet Explorer press the enter or return key to go to the linked page, in Firefox or Netscape 6+ this is not necessary.
Note: Access keys do not work in Netscape 4.7.
Users can also move between links in the pages by using the ' Tab ' key and then pressing ' Enter ' when you reach the required link.
PDF documents
The FIBIS website site uses Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) documents. You have the option to convert PDF documents to text using Adobe's PDF web-based conversion service.
